The advisory firm goetzpartners is opening offices in Dubai and New York to extend its international presence. This means that goetzpartners is now directly represented in the USA and the Middle East and can provide companies with local advisory expertise. Companies over the world are facing the challenge of how to implement innovative business models quickly and sustainably. With its unique combination of corporate finance and management consulting, goetzpartners is addressing precisely this demand. In the current business environment, profitable growth calls for a transformation-oriented strategy together with an appropriate portfolio of investments and holdings. With its expanded international presence, goetzpartners can better satisfy demand for global strategies, while identifying local growth opportunities more selectively.

In Dubai, managing director Erik Almqvist and his team of consultants will be looking after the needs of existing customers and expanding goetzpartners' business interests in the region. Erik Almqvist has almost 25 years experience in management consulting, six years as a partner at Arthur D. Little, four years as partner at Analysys Mason and seven as the leader of his own consulting company. Initially, goetzpartners will be providing consulting services in the high-growth sectors of telecommunications and smart energy, and education and public administration. The local team - a well-balanced mix of young consultants and proven region and industry experts - will be providing clients from the region with support on issues concerning strategy and transformation in particular.

At the same time, the first office in the United States is being opened in New York under the leadership of Markus Schmid, managing director at goetzpartners. He has extensive experience in Management Board and general manager positions gained at such companies as SKY, TeleColumbus, PrimaCom as well as a company founder. In a consulting career spanning many years at goetzpartners, he has specialized in helping national and international companies to develop and implement transformation and innovation programs. The new US location is important for goetzpartners' international development on two counts: on the one hand, our consultants will be able to provide customers from the USA with a more direct form of support when developing business models; on the other, goetzpartners will be able to satisfy increasing demand among its European customers for a global range of consulting services.

Expertise at 11 international locations
With the addition of its two new offices, goetzpartners will have 14 offices in 11 countries. Dr Stephan Goetz, managing partner and co-founder of goetzpartners, says: ""With new offices opening in Dubai and New York, 2016 is set to be an important year in the international development of goetzpartners. We're not only expanding our network of offices to 11 countries in all, we're also establishing a local presence for many of our customers in two of the most strategically important and fastest-growing regions of the globe. Because digital transformation doesn't stop at international borders, we can provide customers with an even better consulting service for the strategic alignment of their core business, and in matters affecting their portfolios.""
