Vodafone Egypt announced that Mohamed Abdallah will succeed Alexandre Forment and assume his new role as CEO as of November 1st.

Mohamed joined Vodafone in October 1998 where he held several positions such as the Head of Enterprise Marketing, Head of Internet, VAS and Content, Head of Consumer Marketing and most recently Head of Corporate Sales of Vodafone Egypt.

Before his appointment as CEO, Mohamed Abdallah was Vodafone egypt’s consumer business unit director and a member of Vodafone Egypt’s executive committee. His scope includes, consumer marketing, internet, pricing and planning, brand and communication, international and roaming, customer insight, customer value management, sales and digital marketing.

Prior to being consumer business unit director, Mohamed held the position of enterprise business unit director (EBU) for around 4 years. As EBU director Mohamed was accountable for marketing, sales, technical and operational resources that looked after the Enterprise business in Egypt.
