Etisalat today announced its sponsorship of the UAE Paralympic Committee at the upcoming Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games.

Forty-seven athletes with disabilities from the UAE Paralympics team are set to compete in eight sporting events namely athletics, power lifting, shooting, boccia, cycling, table tennis, archery and judo, at the Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games from 6th to 13th October in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Dr Ahmed bin Ali, Group Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Etisalat, said: "Etisalat is delighted to be sponsoring the UAE National Paralympics Committee at the Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games. Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games, also known as the 3rd Asian Para Games, is a multi-sport event involving athletes with a range of disabilities. About 3,000 athletes from 43 countries are expected to take part in 15 paralympic and 3 non-paralympic sports. The Games will take place in the same venues as the 2018 Indonesia Asian Games.
