On October 30, 2024, the Global Mobile Broadband Forum 2024 (MBBF 2024) commenced in Istanbul, Türkiye, under the theme "5.5G Leads the Mobile AI Era." The event drew over 1,000 participants from mobile network carriers and industry ecosystems, as well as leaders across various sectors, and explored the latest innovative business models, industry growth, and critical technological paths forward in the age of Mobile AI.

Li Peng, Huawei’s Corporate Senior Vice President and President of ICT Sales & Service, delivered a keynote speech at the Global MBB Forum 2024. He shared his views regarding the state of intelligence within the ICT industry, and expanded on how entities can make the most of new opportunities in an era in which AI is changing every aspect of our lives and work.

User equipment (UE)-related working groups (WGs) constitute 80% of the total participation in the 3GPP standardization, according to ABI Research. These innovative contributors include network infrastructure vendors, chipset vendors, network service providers, UE suppliers, and government and academic institutions.
