SAP SE announced the expansion of SAP Cloud Platform, formerly known as SAP HANA Cloud Platform, with new capabilities and enhancements to provide an industry-leading platform as a service (PaaS). With a comprehensive set of new business services, SAP Cloud Platform addresses the most critical business needs by making it easy and fast to build new applications, expedite the extension and integration of SAP apps, power innovative Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios, accelerate Big Data projects and enable machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. This announcement was made at Mobile World Congress being held February 27-March 2 in Barcelona.

Nokia has expanded its industry-leading mobile transport portfolio with new products and innovations specifically designed to address the critical requirements of the 5G era. This expansion aims to satisfy the increasingly complex and diverse challenges of today's evolving mobile infrastructure with the industry's most comprehensive range of 'anyhaul' mobile transport options. The programmable, end-to-end networking solutions build upon Nokia's deep pedigree in mobile, microwave, IP, optical, and fixed access technologies.

The award-winning Withings ecosystem of connected health products will launch under the iconic Nokia brand in early summer 2017, including connected scales, trackers, blood pressure monitors, thermometers and home cameras, bringing beautifully designed devices to the global consumer market. At the same time Nokia will also unveil a redesigned Health Mate application.

SAP SE plans to deliver SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS on March 30, giving developers the tools needed to build powerful enterprise apps for iPhone and iPad. Developers can now register for the SAP Academy for iOS to get the necessary training to create their own native apps. Additionally, early adopter customers have already seen improvements in their business with iOS built on SAP's platforms. These announcements were made at Mobile World Congress being held February 27-2 March in Barcelona, Spain.

Tech Mahindra, a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business engineering announced that cloud native communications leader Metaswitch has been selected to join its VNF-Exchange program. By joining the VNF-Exchange program, Metaswitch will provide key cloud native virtual network functions as part of Tech Mahindra's validated end-to-end solutions for converged and mobile operators, including Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi).
