Employees of all Fujairah's government departments and their families will be privileged with world class voice and data services from du. As part of a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Zayoodi, director of the Human Resources Department in Fujairah, and Marwan Thani, vice president Government Sales at du. The telecommunication company will provide a host of telecommunications services to all Fujairah government entities based on their unique requirements, including national data plans and special rates on calling with the latest smartphones.

Employees of any Fujairah government department can visit the du Shop in Fujairah City Centre with their official documents and work ID to benefit from the agreement. The offers will be customized to include value added services that suit customer spend patterns.

His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Zayoodi, director of the Human Resources Department in Fujairah, said: ""This MoU is testament to our commitment to growing a collaborative ecosystem between the government and private sectors of the UAE. Our alignment with du will empower our employees across all Fujairah's government departments with the best in breed connectivity and communications services.""

Last year, du launched an exclusive plan for government employees in the UAE. The Government Plan offers increased national data and minutes allowances, an LTE-enabled mobile device with zero upfront cost and an exclusive number. Employees using the plan will have unlimited call time allowances to call each other within the scope of their work. As a part of the package, government employees have the flexibility to further tailor their mobile packages with add-on bundles, created exclusively for them.
