Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) officially launched its corporate identity in Abu Dhabi, following law No. 16 of 2019, which was recently decreed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, for the establishment of the authority replacing Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC).

The new identity was presented during a media gathering held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, led by H.E. Dr. Rauda Saeed Al Saadi, Director General of ADDA, together with several executive directors and local and international media representatives.

In accordance with the law, ADDA will take on a new mandate marking its key role in driving the digital future of Abu Dhabi and the vision to become a leading hub for digital innovation in the region. With a significantly expanded portfolio, ADDA is set to further support integrated service experiences, provide enabling solutions and foster innovation in the Emirate. The new corporate identity reveals a new logo reflecting the vision and mission of developing the digital system of government services and promoting digital transformation in Abu Dhabi.

“The new decree establishing ADDA demonstrates the vision of the country's wise leadership to promote the efficiency of government sector by creating a safe and reliable digital system that will support comprehensive and sustainable development”, H.E. Dr. Rauda Saeed Al Saadi, Director General of ADDA said.

She also highlighted that the Authority takes a major step forward towards providing a future model of government sector that includes all aspects of life such as housing, education, health, work, as well as leisure and recreation.

‘We are proud to reveal the new corporate identity as an icon of the digital transformation process aimed at further strengthening Abu Dhabi's leading position in the region and the world. The new logo of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority illustrates a creative rendition of the establishment of a modern and integrated digital system based on innovation, serving all walks of life in society.”

Her Excellency noted that ADDA is adopting an operating model which employs advanced technology solutions such as digital platforms that enhance the efficiency of government work and address common concerns, while also ensuring the security of digital assets of government entities. She further explained that this approach is focused on developing strategies, policies and standards related to the field of digital transformation, building the Emirate’s digital infrastructure, forging partnerships with the private sector, as well as strengthening the capabilities of government staff to support innovation and knowledge and position Abu Dhabi as a global leader in the field.

Innovative initiatives and plans

H.E Dr. Al Saadi further elaborated the plans and directions of the Authority, which will focus on adopting strategies for government practices that promote digital transformation and effective strategic partnerships with public and private sectors. It will continue to reinforce the foundation of an integrated approach in providing government services that support strategic decision-making, as well as deliver the latest innovations, systems, applications, websites and other platforms that help establish the UAE capital as a vital global business and investment destination and a regional hub for digital transformation.

She emphasized that ADDA will leverage its expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), data management, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as safeguarding information and maintaining a safe and reliable digital environment.

ADDA works to launch and implement a series of innovative digital initiatives and projects, including the ‘Open Data Program’ which aims to create a fully-integrated system that will enable smoother user access to reliable data sources--quickly and securely.

The Authority has launched TAMM in line with Abu Dhabi Government Accelerators Programme ‘Ghadan 21’, providing a single platform that offers an array of government services through a journey-focused approach. The four TAMM Service Centres, which are located in Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain city and the Al Dhafra region, has recorded a 98% customer satisfaction during the first half of 2019. In addition, the Abu Dhabi Government Contact Centre (800555), one of TAMM’s communication channels, has revealed the 98% completion of the 292,210 cases reported during the first six months of 2019. The online TAMM portal recorded more than 3.5 million visitors during the same period.

‘TAMM’ is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region that aims to transform Abu Dhabi’s government services by employing the latest innovative technologies that offer seamless customer experience.
