Mobily, Saudi Arabia’s leading technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) company, has signed two cooperation agreements with global telecommunications giant, Nokia, marking a significant leap in enhancing connectivity and accelerating digital transformation in the Kingdom.

The first agreement focuses on expanding 4G and 5G networks to improve customer experience, particularly in remote areas. This initiative will provide internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps, ensuring enhanced connectivity across Saudi Arabia.

This collaboration will accelerate Mobily’s digital journey and catalyze new, innovative opportunities. The second agreement will enable Saudi developers to create new applications that will also serve as use cases.

Mikko Lavanti, Nokia’s Senior Vice President for Mobile Networks, Middle East, stated, “LEAP is full of action and contracts; it’s a really inspiring time.”

The strategic partnership, aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, will further position the Kingdom as a leader in global technological innovation.
